The Taste of Aussie

Our Vision is to become the biggest, most reliable and comprehensive culinary website in Australia.

As the song goes, “just the two of us” – and that is The Taste of Aussie – a husband and wife team operating a couple of laptops in our lounge room.

Why ? Well, we noticed that more and more corporate websites are becoming user-paid in some way or another and we decided to create a website for home cooks that will stay free and can answer to most of their cooking needs.

We aren’t Mastercooks so our recipes are those that the average household cook can put together. You don’t need super decorating skills to make our cakes because we don’t do fancy, you don’t need to be a billionaire to buy the ingredients for our recipes because we use everyday ingredients (okay a few of the ethnic recipes might be a bit tricky) and let you know what to buy or substitute, and we only have one recipe for any entry – you’re not going to find 20 different chocolate cake recipes – just our best one.
