The Hungry Jacks Whopper Burger has been an Australian legend for over 40 years. The real thing has flame grilled 100% Australian beef, ripe hand-cut tomato, fresh lettuce, onion, pickles, mayo and tomato sauce on a toasted sesame seed bun. Hungry Jacks Whopper Burger

  • 1 sesame-seed hamburger bun
  • 115 g beef mince
  • dash of salt
  • 3 dill pickle slices
  • 1 teaspoon tomato ketchup
  • 3 - 4 onion rings
  • 2 tomato slices
  • ¼ cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  1. Preheat the barbecue grill to high
  2. Toast both halves of the burger bun, face down, in a hot skillet and set aside.
  3. Form the mince into a thin patty slightly larger than the burger bun.
  4. Lightly salt the burger meat patty and cook on the BBQ grill for 2 minutes on each side.
Place the ingredients in the following order from the bottom up to the top
burger bun bottom
hamburger beef patty
dill pickle slices
tomato ketchup
onion rings
tomato slices
shredded lettuce
burger bun top
