Meatless Monday is an international movement to help people reduce their meat consumption by 15%. – It’s not about becoming a vegetarian, so please read on.

On average, Australians consume 225 g of meat per day – 45% more than is recommended. Going meatless one day a week can reduce the risk of chronic preventable conditions like cancer, cardiovascular disease, diabetes and obesity. It can also help limit people’s carbon footprint and save precious resources like fresh water and fossil fuel.

Meatless Monday has been a global success because of the passion and energy of everyday individuals. Deciding to do Meatless Monday is a fun, positive and powerful way to do your health a favour and take a positive action for the planet. The idea is that you’ll receive a regular collection of beautiful meatless recipes and exciting campaign updates.
