Fresh mandarin whipped cream can be used in a variety of ways. Try using this lovely whipped cream as a delightful topping on our Mandarin and Chocolate Friands or a hot coffee or hot chocolate!
- 1½ tablespoons freshly squeezed mandarin juice
- 1 tablespoon fresh mandarin zest, grated or chopped finely
- ½ cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 tablespoon icing sugar
- Whip cream until soft peaks form.
- Stir in freshly squeezed mandarin juice, mandarin zest and icing sugar.
- Continue whipping until peaks are firm.
- Refrigerate until needed
