Steak Fajita Pizza

Steak Fajita Pizza is an easy weeknight meal idea combining the bold and zesty flavours of steak fajitas with fresh and wholesome ingredients. This dynamic duo of fajita and pizza is sure to spice up dinnertime any day of the week.

Steak Fajita Pizza
  • 2 teaspoons chilli powder
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 300 g sirloin steak, trimmed
  • 1 pizza base
  • 1 cup chunky salsa
  • 1 green capsicum, cut into strips
  • 1 red onion, thinly sliced and separated into rings
  • ¾ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  1. Preheat oven to 230°C. Heat a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Meanwhile, in a small bowl, combine chilli powder and garlic powder; sprinkle over both sides of steak. Add steak to skillet; cook 5 minutes per side.
  3. Remove steak from skillet; let stand 6 to 8 minutes then slice diagonally across the grain into thin slices.
  4. Place pizza crust on a pizza pan and spoon salsa over it. Sprinkle mozzarella over the salsa. Arrange pepper strips, onion rings, and steak slices over the mozzarella and then sprinkle with the cheddar cheese.
  5. Place in the oven and bake until the cheese is bubbling and the crust edges browned, about 12-15 minutes.
