How do I save curry with too much cumin?

I think I may have added too much cumin seed in my curry sauce last night and it has this dry seasoning taste in every bite. It may have soaked into the veggies as well…..

Is there a way to save the curry that is left such as an ingredient or something to balance it out?

Everybody has done it, too much cumin can be very powerful. To counterbalance the excess cumin add NUTMEG – about ½ teaspoon at a time and let it cook through before retesting.Other options include:

  • Make a second curry sauce without the cumin, combine the two and freeze what you don’t need
  • Temper the sauce with yoghurt, sour cream, cream, or coconut milk
